My creativity continued to evolve and I loved making costumes for school dance shows and house competitions. Then, when I went off to musical theatre college - I met a friend who introduced me to the world of Comic Con’s - something that until then had always seemed so cool, yet so far away. That was when I started making cosplays. This was a new world of costume making that I opened myself up to and I loved it. I started looking at Pop Culture costuming that I loved and that is when I realised my love for historical fashion. A lot of superhero costumes have no visual way to get in or out of them, and no way for getting them on or off quickly or efficiently.
